Welcome to the Mowap app!
The Mowap Privacy Policy ("this Privacy Policy") states your rights and explains how Mowap collects, uses and stores your personal information. Please read and accept this Privacy Policy and any other supplementary documents before using Mowap services.
This Privacy Policy applies to the features and services provided by Mowap products (including features and services that collect, store and edit your personal data or add, delete and control devices). It does not apply to any other third-party products and services ("Third-party Services"). Before using Third-party Services, you should familiarize yourself with the features of any Third-party Services and the corresponding privacy policies.

1.Which information we collect
Mowap will use the following methods to collect information that you provide, give your consent to or generate when registering for or using services:
- 1.1Account registration information: When you register for Mowap services, you are required to provide your mobile phone number, email address or Facebook/Twitter account (we will collect your username and user ID). If you do not provide this information, you will not be able to access all of the services provided by Mowap. If you provide your mobile phone number or email address, you can choose whether to provide your gender, name, age, occupation, address and postcode. If you do not provide this information, you may not be able to access after-sales services, but your access to other Mowap services will not be affected.

1.2In order to improve the user experience when you use the Mowap app to control, charge and configure your robotic lawnmower, enable us to identify errors, faults and compatibility issues, improve our services and protect your account information, we will collect the following information:
- 1.2.1Device data: We will collect information on the device that you use to access Mowap services (subject to the necessary access permissions being granted) in order to identify compatibility issues. This information includes your model number, operating system and system version.
- 1.2.2Log data: In order to protect your account information and prevent unauthorized access, we may contact you at any time to confirm that your account was accessed by you. In addition, we will collect log data including the device and IP address that was last used to access your account and the time when your account was last accessed. When you report an issue to us, we can identify your current software version and inform you whether an update is necessary.
- 1.2.3Permission data: When you use Mowap services, we will obtain the necessary device permissions required for the features that you use. If you do not grant these permissions, you will not be able to access the corresponding features. These permissions include:

The features and services that we provide are regularly updated. If a feature or service is not listed above and we need to collect your personal information, an onscreen prompt will be displayed or a notice will be published on our website to inform you of the content, nature and purpose of the information that we need to collect and to obtain your consent.
2.How we store your information
We strictly comply with all legal regulations and user provisions and shall only collect your information for the purposes listed below. If we need to use your information for other purposes not listed below, we will inform you and request your consent.
2.1Where your information is stored
In accordance with legal regulations, all information collected and generated within the European Union shall be stored in Frankfurt, Germany.
2.2How long we store your personal data for
Typically, we will only retain your personal data (e.g. user name, mobile phone number and email address) for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for. Optional personal information (including your age, occupation, gender, address and postcode) will be stored in accordance with your account preferences.
If a product or service is discontinued, we will send a push notification or publish a notice to inform you. In addition, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, stop collecting personal data and remove access to third-party apps and services to prevent Third-party Services from collecting and continuing to use your personal information.
3.How we protect your information
3.1We undertake to prevent your personal data from being lost, used inappropriately or accessed in an unauthorized way.
3.2We use a range of appropriate security measures to protect your information. These include encryption technology (e.g. SSL/TLS) and data anonymization.
3.3We use specialized data management systems and processes to ensure data security. For example, we strictly limit the number of users who may access such information, require such users to comply with confidentiality obligations and conduct regular audits.
3.4If data security is compromised (e.g. your personal data is disclosed), we will initiate a contingency plan in accordance with legal regulations in order to contain the incident. In addition, we will send a push notification or publish a notice to inform you of the circumstances and its potential impact on you as well the remedial measures implemented by us.
4.How we use your information

4.1The information that we collect when you use Mowap services is used to provide a better service and user experience. This information will be used for the following purposes:
- 4.1.1Security purposes: We will use the information that we collect to improve the security and reliability of Mowap services. This includes detecting, preventing and responding to fraud, misuse, illegal activities, security risks and technical faults that may harm Mowap, our users or the general public.
- 4.1.2Communication purposes: We will use the information that we collect (e.g. your email address or mobile phone number) to communicate with you. For example, if we detect suspicious activity (e.g. attempts to access your Mowap account from an unusual location), we may contact you. We may also contact you to inform you about upcoming changes or upgrades to our services, or to request feedback.
- 4.1.3In order to comply with relevant laws and regulations and government policies/directives.
We will not use your personal information for user profile analysis, personalized recommendations or marketing purposes. If we use your personal information beyond the scope directly or reasonably associated with the stated purpose at the time of collection, we will inform you again and obtain your express consent before using your personal information.
4.2We will use your personal information in accordance with your preferences and any relevant agreements. For example, you have the right to decide which information is displayed in the Mowap app and how to display end user information.

4.3In accordance with relevant laws and regulations and national policies, we may collect and use your personal information without your consent in the following circumstances:
- 1)Circumstances directly related to national interests, including national security and defense; circumstances directly related to significant public interests, including public security, public health and other circumstances which the public has a right to know about.
- 2)Circumstances directly related to criminal investigations, prosecutions, trials or the execution of a sentence.
- 3)In order to secure significant lawful interests, such as your or other people’s life or property, but where it is difficult to acquire your consent.
- 4)Where you have already publicly disclosed your personal information.
- 5)Where we collect your personal details from information that is lawfully disclosed to the public, such as legitimate news reports or information published by the government.
- 6)Where the use of your personal information is necessary to establish and perform a contract in accordance with your requirements.
- 7)In order to maintain the security and stability of the products and services that we provide, e.g. identify and resolve faults.
- 8)Other circumstances specified by law.
5.Information sharing and disclosure
5.1Under no circumstances will we share or transfer your personal information to third parties.
5.2We will not disclose your personal information. If disclosure is necessary, we will inform you of the purpose of the disclosure, the type of information disclosed and any possible sensitive information and request your express consent.
5.3As our business continues to grow, we may conduct mergers and acquisitions, asset transfers and other transactions. We will inform you of the nature of such circumstances and continue to protect or require the new controller of your information to continue to protect your personal information in accordance with legal regulations and the standards required by this Privacy Policy.
5.4We may be required to disclose your personal information in accordance with legal requirements or law enforcement directives.
6.How to access and manage your personal information
We provide a settings interface to enable you to access, change and delete your personal information and delete your Mowap account. To configure your preferences, follow the instructions in the section below:

6.1View your profile picture, nickname, gender, name, age, occupation, address, postcode, mobile phone number, email address and other basic personal details:
- In the Mowap app, touch "User profile" or touch your profile picture.

6.2Delete your personal information:
- In the Mowap app, touch "User profile" or touch your profile picture. Touch the line containing the information that you want to delete. Delete the text and touch "Done".

6.3Change your personal information:
- 1)In the Mowap app, touch "User profile" or touch your profile picture.
- 2)Touch the line containing the information that you want to change.
- 3)Change the information and touch "Done".

6.4Deleting your account:
- 1)Launch the Mowap app and touch "Setting".
- 2)Touch "Account setting".
- 3)Touch "Account Cancellation".
- 4)Touch "Yes".
- 5)Touch "Confirm" and wait for the verification code.
- 6)Enter the verification code and touch "Confirm".
- 7)Your account is now deleted.
- Note: We will delete your personal information when your account is deleted.
7.Children/minors
We are committed to protecting the personal information of minors. In accordance with relevant legal regulations, if you are a minor, you must obtain written consent from your parent or legal guardian before using Mowap services. If you are the guardian of a minor and have any queries about the personal information of the minor under your care, please contact us using any of the methods in section 10.
8.Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. If any changes are made to the terms in this Privacy Policy, we will display the revised version in a push notification or popup window.
9.Miscellaneous
The user rights and data protection measures stipulated herein apply to all users of Mowap services. Please refer to this document when using Mowap services.
